If you're curious as to why we now have a new separate wholesale website:
Unfortunately the attempt to "add on" the membership functionality, with the features we desire, to our current website was deemed "not possible". Due to this we have recently created a new website for our wholesale customers to purchase from that has the membership functionality to serve and set apart our "wholesale customers" from "retail bargain seekers" (this became more of an issue after we recently removed the minimum order requirement). We feel it is important to protect our resellers without causing too much "fuss" about credit applications and other annoying paperwork that is associated with wholesale applications... none of us want this.
The new website may seem to be "chopped down" as far as design is concerned, but we feel it will serve our wholesale customers much better in terms of functionality. We will also be adding other features not possible with the other website. The set up is a little different, but the website will allow you to track orders, keep record of past orders, etc. Because of these functions a customer doesn't have to "worry" about an order going through or wait for the tracking email (if it wasn't blocked by their email server) rather they can simply login and search through past orders (and track orders) at their convenience.
Why did you not just keep the same website/domain name and move to another server/shopping cart or "redirect" to the new website? "In a nutshell", Natural Soap Wholesale was set up to be "search engine friendly". We have invested much time and money into this website in making it such. Any attempts to switch to another format would probably have catastrophic effects on our ranking which we rely on for business and it would be a huge waste.
The Natural Soap Wholesale website will continue to be available for various functions, and most likely become more of an information website about our products and listing locations where our products may be purchased (yes, that's right, we very well may have the option for your store to be listed on this website). We have not yet determined the details. In either case the new wholesale website will be the place for the most current information and purchasing for wholesale customers.
